: 4th stay at this hotel and I must admit its now looking a bit dated and in need of a refurb to bring it up to the current standards of hotels like The Hoxton who offer something a bit more cooler.

: Hotel in an excellent position,staff efficient and friendly however we were in room 112 a disabled room as this was the only double available in the hotel for the night we arrived. We were given the option to move the following day however we chose not to as we didn't have time as we were visiting Amsterdam to attend a competition! The room was noisy not only from the toing and froing of staff from the back entrance but also within the hotel. The hotels welcome brochure detailed that each room had the appropriate number of dressing gowns which it did not. The fridge had not been cleaned and we were welcomed with a stale cheese and ham baguette... I hope this is helpful

: Great location for business travelers and tourists who want to be close to the train station and to the main attractions. The staff is great, the breakfast is very good and the rooms are quite comfortable if you are in the upper floors. Windows are very small though.

: Proximity to the red light district and the central station makes the neighborhood a bit shoddy though. I wouldn't call it unsafe though. Rooms in the lower floors can be very dark and not recommended for people that are a bit claustrophobic.

: Room 116 was next to street and people outside were noisy until 3:30-4:00am. Hard to sleep. A different room would hopefully be better.

: 1. My room was no properly sound proof. I woke up at 4:30 am called the reception from the loud noise in the street . I couldn’t sleep after that . the reception said it was normal but they will call security. Nothing happened . The noise settled at 6:00. So my day was a mess . I complained in the morning they emphasized that it is usual since people leave the clubs at that time ! Not even apologize. I’ve stayed at the la rambla and time square and didn’t suffer like this . 2.The room I got had a very bad residual smell like mold including the toilet. I didn’t hang my clothes in the cupboard I kept them on the chair ... they caught the smell ... I had to keep putting perfume on it to get rid of the smell the next day ... so embarrassing
