Morning:
It is best not to spend the early morning hours in bed as
there is so much that the tourists can in these early hours. The greatest
advantage of waking up early is that many attractions will be free of the crowd
and can be enjoyed in much peace and calmness. Set your goal of leaving the
hotel at 6:30 a.m if you wish to enjoy breakfast outdoors and 7 a.m if you want
to have breakfast in your hotel.
Breakfast:
The best breakfast dish is Pho which can be
found being served at small stalls on the streets. For those who wish to try
other dishes for breakfast can head up to Cafe Dinh is famous for its
traditional and old Hanoi vibes and it serves the best Egg Coffee.
Stop 1: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum or Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son
Temple
For tourists in Hanoi on a Monday or Friday will
be unable to visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum as it opens from Tuesdays to
Thursdays and Saturday to Sunday. If this attraction is closed, tourists may
visit the Hoan Kiem Lake after the breakfast at Café Dinh as these two
locations are very close. Visiting this lake park is a very refreshing and
perfect start to the Hanoi trip. Tourists can enjoy observing the locals who
are busy in their early morning workout and tai chi sessions around the lake or
opt for turtle hunting. There is a pagoda at the center which is a major
attraction as well. After staying at the park for an hour, tourists can head up
to the Ngoc Son Temple, which can be reached by crossing the Huc Bridge over
the lake, a prominent attraction for the tourists.
