It is one of the favorite destinations for tourists because of the atmosphere. The city has a Mediterranean climate and it is sunny in summer and rainy in winter. The city has a good mild warm weather. Before visiting the city you must know when to visit Lisbon. The weather changes a lot it could be dry, warm, summery, or rainy.
The best time to visit Lisbon is from March to May. But, never the less visiting any place is your own choice so dividing the year based on of weather so you may know when to visit Lisbon.

From March to May:
This is considered to be the best time to visit Lisbon why because during this time you will encounter many of the special events of the city. The city is at its lowest temperature during this period. There is a high possibility of higher accommodation and airline rates because this is the time where most of the tourists visit this auspicious city. Do keep layers of the jacket because you never know when you will have to use them.
You will get a chance to experience Lisbon half marathon, Lisbon fish and flavors, and out jazz festivals.

From June to August:
These months’ slots are the most summery season. There is always the flaming blazing sun this season. But there is good in everything you can enjoy your time on the best beaches all around the town. You can experience a little rain too if you get lucky. You can be a part of Portuguese National Day too if you are visiting the city this time. But, the one problem to visit the city during this time is finding accommodation will get fussy a bit. So, book your rooms in advance to get rid of the unnecessary fuss.
So, this would be the best time to visit Lisbon if you are a sunny person.

This could be the second-best time to visit Lisbon because the temperature starts dropping and you may experience the cold side of Lisbon. Fares or rates are low during this time and it could be less crowded too. You can get a chance to hit the Out Jazz Festival held during the weekends of September. This time could be the best season for day trips

November to February:
November to February will typically be the rainy season, the city gets wet so make sure you have your umbrellas on if you do not wish to get wet. The weather can a bit cloudy during this time. This is a season for art and antique lovers because the city hosts their one of the finest fairs and that is Art and Antique Fair.
