Begin your trip just across from the Louis-Jolliet boat in the heart of the old city of Quebec at 1p.m.. Pedal past the port area and the Domaine de Maizerets, an old French Domain, and continue past Beauport Bay as you make your way to the falls. You'll always ride on a bike path away from the cars, and your experienced guide will show you different points of interest and explain the history and geography of the area along the way.
At Montmorency Falls, ride the cable car up, and stop at the Manoir Montmorency, the former summer house of the Duke of Kent, the father of Queen Victoria. Then the boardwalk will take you on the bridge that overlooks the waterfalls.
Take the trail upstream, and enjoy the laurentian forest and huge rapids upstream. Rest your feet in the water of the Montmorency River. Afterward, come back down using the stairs, and enjoy the falls from the bottom.
Catch a glimpse of the stunning scenery as you ride back to the heart of Quebec City.
