: Overrated. Not recommended.

: It has a great brand because of its olden days. Today it desperately needs renovation. The rooms are dirty, beds are old, the showers are no longer comfortable, the lightings look outdated, the ambience is like cheap hotel. The furnitures need to be replaced, even the plants are no longer fresh, lot of uncovered grounds, and the staffs look tired. The check-in area is too small while truckload of guests keep coming at the same time. I heard most of them are complaining. The million dollar brand is too expensive to be neglected. Do something!

4.2 Disappointing

: (1) Receptionists were not well trained as they did not keep us updated on the status of our check in and left us sitting there for >20mins not knowing what is going on. We understand check-in time is 2pm but if you'll like us to come back at 2pm, you should have let us know that the room is not ready after you have checked. (2) The area is very secluded and not convenient. If you plan to stay in the resort the whole time, this is the place. But if you plan to explore at places outside the hotel for lunch or dinner, this area may pose a challenge. We have engaged different taxi drivers during our trip and they all have lost their way just trying to locate the resort. (3) There is a construction beside the hotel and our villa (including our villa's pool) is in direct sight from the construction. Villas numbered in high 60s to low 70s have this issue. We were in high 60s. (4) Checkout was so slow, we had to call them 4 times (waited for 40mins) for them to do in-villa checkout. Overall, the hotel staffs don't seem to be well trained to handle this volume of guests, the place is crowded with about 70 villas and it does not match to the price and hotel star rating. We will not want to be back again.

: Beautiful resort with amazing villas, lush greenery, fantastic infinity pool overlooking the ocean and an awesome private beach. Staff is very polite and friendly. My children loved every moment of staying at the resort. The large splash pool (we were ungraded to three bedroom villa) was a huge hit.

: Choice of food inside the resort is minimal. The resort is in the remote side of Bali and you can't walk to anywhere. Once you are inside the resort, your only option is the single resort restaurant in the evenings (we managed to hit a supermarket and bring back ingredients to take advantage of the well equipped kitchen in the villa). During the day, there is a second food establishment at the beach (ironically we found more food choices for a family at this location than in the main restaurant). For a five star resort, the menu at the resort hotel is very limited. However, the quality of food is fantastic. My recommendation will be for the resort to vastly improve the choice of food. Also, my recommendation will be to create a buffet breakfast. It's very helpful especially when you are traveling with children.

4.6 Disappointing

: Check in time requested was 1pm which they said wasn’t a problem. They made us wait down at the beach bar where we melted in long clothing as it was 31 with high humidity. We were escorted to our room until 2.30pm They have a very loud annoying religious chant at 6am,6pm and 12 midday. The chant can only be liked to a goat being slaughtered and to be woken up everyday at 6am on holidays is painful. The place is dated in a great location in a nutshell.

: Hmmmm we didn’t consume the mini bar on certain stuff but it went missing as well. We have to call the cleaners to clean the room then only they will come. There were 9 of us and they only gave us 8 bottle of water when we requested for me they didn’t give us. The room were quite hot and our safe was spoil had to ask them to come fix it as well. We had a higher expectation towards the villa

: The main pool was amazing. The cable car down to the beach was great. The staff were very nice. The villa was beautiful. There were more good things than bad things and overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

: The food options for dinner were expensive. A second coffee at breakfast was not complimentary. The movie night on the beach was only twice a week, so we missed that - perhaps every 2nd night would be a better idea.
