: I LOVED the location and the staff were incredibly helpful. The concierge Kirill was brilliant and genuinely made our stay unforgettable in St Petersburg with the best restaurant and tour tips. Will definitely stay in this hotel again. Our room had a view to the river and the bridges which was spectacular. I love the old world charm of this hotel.

: There was no lobby or bar at the hotel. Sometimes we just wanted to chill on a terrace or a bar area in our hotel as we waited for tours or just to hang out.

: Noise air con in room 25 but moved to room 43 where noise was still there but better. Hated not having a window in bedroom. Had a sitting area with an upholstered bench, not a settee, which had view over courtyard. It was a yard, not something pretty you would want to look at. I would not have paid £200 plus per room had I kniw this. Also hotel had no communal sitting area or loung. Nowhere to get a drink after a long day of sight seeing other than in toon. Honestly not 5 star in my experience. But no reflection on excellent staff. There is talk in other reviews if free flowing champagne. This was not our experience. One glass on arrival and one the night before we left. Others were drinking st breakfast so I did ask and was given one. But I didn’t book fir the champagne. I booked for my partners 60th and felt a bit let down.

: The room was large. Lots of wardrobe space. At night they put chocolates next to the bed it was a touch. The door man was very helpful. Lots of bottled water in the room.

: No lounge, no bar, the view was not nice and location was average.

: I definitely appreciated the welcome at the hotel. Glass of champagne and handmade chocolates. Also a pleasant bedtime ritual. There was a feeling that the room was recently renovated. You could catch a slight smell of fresh paint.

: I specifically booked a room the Neva view. When we arrived, they gave us another room, 41. It has a terrace with a blank wall. The staff suggested changing the number in a few hours, but we couldn’t wait any longer. Breakfast is pretty standard. I can't say that it somehow impressed me. What I would suggested to the hotel - put the names of the dishes. Foreigners came to breakfast and didn't quite understand what they saw before them.
