Staff appears coin-operated - as soon as you appear to tip them, they go into action. One room was not ready for 3 hours after a 3 PM check-in. Offered a glass of champagne. Didn't take it. I would have preferred they had my room ready. I have stayed here before and frankly, the service has gone down.

The hotel is something of a legend, and met my expectations in this regard. Everything was what I was hoping for, and the staff exceeded my expectations. You really can't beat the location.

Excellent overall hotel environment and service. Restaurant food quality excellent. Room décor would benefit from an uplift but adequate.
Restaurant Entertainment very enjoyable although some variation would also be good. Same entertainers as on previous visits.

The ground floor rooms were as expected to a high standard,and very impressive. All the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. Loved the entrance hall with the lovely chandeliers. We loved the casino opulence. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch in a beautiful dining room, the food and service were excellent.

Disappointed in the room, it did not meet the expectations of what I looked at when booking from the website. The size of the room was smaller than I thought it was going to be, it also did not have a nice outlook.
The room did not match to our expectations as we were also expecting the room to be very palatial. The air conditioning unit had to be switched off before you could sleep due to the noise. Breakfast could be improved as tea,coffee and toast could be better.

Great location for exploring central London. Fabulous hotel with professional but friendly staff especially in the Rivoli Bar who made the best Gimlet and got me extra short bread.
It is not cheap to stay there but worth the experience.

There was not anything I did not like although compared to other luxury hotels I have stayed at our bathroom was looking a little tired.
