: I read many bad reviews, but was (for this reason) pleasently surprised. The room was small (the bed took up much of the floor space), but very well furnished, with even a washer-drier included; full kitchen complement (although a manual for the micro would have helped - I figured it out eventually). However, unlike some reports, the room was quite OK and recently redecorated. Location very good. Cleaning service every day.

: No wifi included, the hotel suggests an outside BT service (£25/5 days, one item at a time. I did not try this, using my private 4G instead). A free, low-speed alternative should have been an option. Clearly rooms differ, mine did not have any easy chair or similar, only two desk chairs and a small table - there was no room for any more. OK for kitchen duty, less helpful for any long rest days you might want to spend in. Oh, and I had a brief visit from a mouse one evening. Possibly the walls are not air-tight...

: Location is great 10 mins walk from Sth Ken tube, and walking distance to museums, Hyde Park, Sloane Sq etc (if you like walking...). The apartment we were in (top floor) was spacious and newly refurbed to high standard. Very light and airy with two en-suites, kitchen, large living room / diner.

: Freshly refurbed, but not much in the way of home comforts. No carpets made it a bit echoey, no soft furnishings in living room same, and a bit sterile. Also a bit cold in temperature. We tried turning up the heating to max by still cold in the hall, kitchen and living room especially. Be prepared that there is nothing there, not even a tea bag so bring basics with you if you are using it as an apartment.

: We were on a floor that had construction work and decoration going on. Stunk of paint. Also the level Of finish in the apartments is poor to fair at best. I think it’s converted council flats
