: The location was absolutely brilliant for our visit to Edinburgh Zoo with our child. The lounge area of the bar was also very pleasant and all of the staff that we encountered were helpful and enthusiastic.

: While the public shared areas of the hotel were clean and tidy, the accommodation itself feels a bit dated and our bathroom was not as clean as it could have been.

: It was clean and comfortable; junior staff lovely, friendly, hard working

: Poor management; too much expected of junior staff, with very poor management support. Consequently, the young staff, a lot of whom were still in training, were struggling; left to manage as best they could without supervision or anyone to train them properly.

: Rooms dated, poor lighting heated towel rail didn’t work. Lack of toiletries in room , not enough sockets. Staff in bar lacked training.

: Everything else. Room was clean and comfortable. Health Club facilities were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Myself and my boyfriend had come to see the Giant Lanterns at the zoo and with that and the hotel we had a very enjoyable evening
