: The hotel needs two swimming pools. A lap pool is all that is available for families. There needs to be a lap pool and a pool for children. It was very difficult swimming laps with children playing around me. The pool area is too small for children to enjoy and have fun. We experienced be awakened in the middle of the night from the sound of dance music being played at a wedding party in the hotel. We were on the 8th floor. We called the main desk and complained...they offered to move us to another room...why would we do that in the middle of the night? The deep base sound continued for another hour. This is unacceptable in a facility like the Peninsula...management needs to address this issue to avoid such a thing happening to others in the future. Truthfully we loved the privacy and location of our room but the noise from the party was very inconsiderate for others staying at the hotel. The noise should have been addressed and stopped by management immediately.
